Allow us to clear your confusion

WHEre and when DOES THE CHATTANOOGA FILM FESTIVAL HAPPEN?

This year’s festival is April 11 - 14 and will be held at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre (400 River St,) and The Moxy Chattanooga (1220 King St). The Chattanooga Theatre Centre and The Moxy are 1.5 miles apart in downtown Chattanooga. Both have paid parking available on site. For those who don’t have a car, there are several options:
CARTA’s (free) electric shuttle
Bike Chattanooga
Chattywagon
LYFT

We've partnered with Lyft to offer exclusive ride discounts to the Chattanooga Film Festival!
New to Lyft?: Get $5 off 2 rides HERE or download the app and enter code CFF5.
Already Have Lyft?: Save 15% off 2 rides to or from the Festival with code CFF2019.

WHAT FILMS ARE YOU PLAYING?

Our 2019 lineup is announced in waves in early March leading up to the festival. Follow us on Twitter, FB, and Instagram to stay in the loop about this year’s selections. The press releases will be available in our Press section and the listings of films will be available on the Films section of this website as the waves are published.

WHEN WILL THE SCHEDULE BE RELEASED?

Our schedule is typically released two weeks prior to CFF so that attendees can plan and maximize their schedules while they are with us.

I WANT TO HELP. HOW DO I VOLUNTEER FOR CFF 2019?

Applications are now closed, but check back for 2020 applications next year!

HOW CAN I BECOME A VENDOR WITH MY BUSINESS?

Send an email to us! We’d love to hear from you. Email us here.

WHY AREN’T YOU PLAYING ?

As the festival is only 4 days long, we have a limited number of slots for both shorts and features. Us not selecting a film has no bearing on the films quality or lack of quality - sometimes it comes down to practical things such as running time. Our selection process is thorough, and we aim to showcase the work of as many filmmakers as possible during our lean and mean four days.

HOW DO THE BADGES WORK? WHICH ONE SHOULD I BUY?

A badge is a non-transferable credential worn by the badge holder that allows the bearer certain festival privileges:

This year we expanded our badge and ticketing options to include every budget and every level of fan. Whether you’re buying an individual ticket or our best-selling T.R.I.P. badge, we’ve got you covered. When deciding which badge to buy, keep in mind that theaters are loaded in according to group. Purchase badges here.

Theaters are seated in order by group.
Group A: Double Secret Deluxe, T.R.I.P., Student
Group B: Weekend Warrior, Daily Badges
Group C: The Dabbler, Individual Tickets

WHERE DO I PICK UP MY BADGE? DO I NEED TO PRINT MY TICKET OR CONFIRMATION EMAIL?

Badges are available at the CFF Box Office at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre beginning April 11, 2019. Printing isn’t necessary if you have a smartphone and a valid ID to show us upon pickup!

IS CFF FAMILY FRIENDLY?

CFF attempts to incorporate at least one (free) family screening every festival!

I’M COMING IN FROM OUT OF TOWN, WHERE SHOULD I STAY?

We’re doing something different this year and hosting many of our classes and workshops at our partner hotel The Moxy Chattanooga - which means if you act quickly and book your room (while they’re available), you’ll be sleeping above the CFF Headquarters!
