CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee, May 12, 2026 –With two waves of programming, parties and peculiar happenings already announced for its 13th annual event, the Chattanooga Film Festival was just getting warmed up. The festival has now added a third wave of films and fun to the schedule, and true to form it’s as electric as it is eclectic. With screenings and events featuring genre luminaries like Michael Dougherty, Mark Pellington, Barry Bostwick, and C. Robert Cargill, the festival’s fans will be treated to a year filled with reverence for cinema’s history but also the joy of discovering new voices and future favorites.

It was an epic 10 days, and when the Chattanooga Film Festival, aka Summer Camp for Cinephiles, was done, the following films stood tall among the best and biggest group of features and shorts programmed in CFF’s 12-year history.

CFF’s third and final wave of 2025 includes a film programmed by a very special guest, another World Premiere, sneak preview screenings, and a gargantuan 2025 shorts program.

Powered by a pair of wild World Premieres and the announcement of its 2025 Closing Night Selection, the Chattanooga Film Festival continues its mission of making the world a safer place for strange and wonderful cinema of all types.

The Chattanooga Film Festival—affectionately known to its fans as “Summer Camp for Cinephiles”—returns June 20-28 for its dozenth annual event which is already shaping up to be one of the most jam-packed in the history of a festival famous for jam-packing.

Anchored by a trio of wild and wonderful World Premieres, the CFF's tendency to push things as far as it can is on full display in a jam-packed final wave of films and events for its upcoming 2024 edition.

SUMMER CAMP FOR CINEPHILES IS BACK! IT’S THE 11TH ANNUAL CHATTANOOGA FILM FESTIVAL!

Twenty-two more features complete the already jammed lineup for the festival’s 10th Anniversary, plus events galore including the annual Screenplay Pitch Competition, a Seed & Spark workshop, and a pre-fest Monster Squad Pint Night.

This year’s festival includes the North American premiere of WE MIGHT HURT EACH OTHER, closing night film TRIM SEASON from filmmaker Ariel Vida, the return of the Sonic Cinema block, Jonah Ray hosting the Boat Float, and more!

The Chattanooga Film Festival (CFF) will make its long awaited return this summer from June 23 - 29. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, after being named one of “The 25 Coolest Film Festivals in the World” by MovieMaker Magazine, the festival will return to the ground June 23 - 25, while still offering a virtual experience from June 23 - 29.
